Because the moments you’re living today will become the memories you treasure most.

These seasons of life that pass much faster than we ever expect them too...

I hear it all the time: “I wish I had a picture of us together when she was a baby,” or “We haven’t had family pictures taken in 10 years.”

And... it always makes me a little sad, because we can’t go back and recreate those seasons once they’re gone. So how do we avoid that?

We make the time for the photos now. The last thing I want is for you to look back years from now and wish you had more photographs of the people you love in this season of life.

Your little baby who once fit perfectly in your arms is now walking. The toddler who needed you for everything suddenly wants to do it all by themselves. The little voice you hear every morning changes. And before you know it, you're looking back and wondering, "Where the heck did the time go?"

That's why family photography matters.

Not because you need more pictures.

But because you deserve to remember this... with YOU in the pictures mamma!

They're Only This Little Once

And...It’s so easy to think you’ll remember all of it.

The way they reach for your hand, how they snuggle into you when they’re tired, their little laugh, or the way they come running to you when they’re excited. And of course, you’ll remember a lot of it. But some of those little things just start to fade over time. I think that’s one of the reasons photos are so important.

Years from now, you can look back at a photo and remember how little they were, how it felt to hold them, and all those tiny things about this season that you didn’t even realize you were going to miss.

Your Family Doesn't Have to Be Perfect

Please don’t feel like everything has to be perfect before you book family photos.

Your house doesn’t have to be spotless. Your kids don’t have to be on their best behavior. Nobody has to sit perfectly still and smile at the camera the whole time. And your family definitely doesn’t need to look like the families you see on Pinterest or Instagram. I’m a mom too. I know real life with kids can be a little chaotic. Someone might be grumpy, somebody might need a snack, your toddler might decide they want absolutely nothing to do with me—and that’s absolutely okay!

Honestly, that’s part of your story.

I want the cuddles, the wild little personalities, the sibling silliness, and even a little bit of the chaos. I want to photograph the way your kids love you and the way you all fit together as a family.

Because years from now, I don’t think you’re going to care whether everyone was looking at the camera. You’re going to care that when you look at those photos, you can see your family exactly as they were in that season.

And that’s what’s worth remembering.

You Deserve to Be in the Photographs

Mama, this one is for you!

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably the one taking most of the pictures. You’re pulling out your phone at birthdays, taking pictures at the park, and trying to capture all those little everyday moments you don’t want to forget.

But how often are you actually in them?

I know it can be easy to stay behind the camera. Maybe you don’t love having your picture taken, or you tell yourself you’ll do it when you feel a little more put together. But your kids aren’t going to care about any of that. Someday, when they’re looking back through their childhood photos, they’re going to want to see their mama too. They’ll want to see how you held them when they were little. How you laughed together. How they snuggled into your lap. The way you looked at them when they weren’t paying attention.

Because you’re not just the person documenting their childhood.

You are such a huge part of it, and if I can be so bold... you are pretty much "the most important" part of it.

So mama, get in the pictures. You belong there too. 🤍

These Photographs Become Part of Your Family's Story

I think sometimes we forget that these photos can become so much more than just another picture sitting on our phones.

Maybe it’s the photo you walk past every day hanging in your hallway. Maybe it’s in the album your kids pull off the shelf and flip through over and over again. Or maybe one day, it’s a photograph your child has hanging in their own home when they are all grown.

I just think there’s something really special about that.

A photo that feels like a normal Tuesday to you right now might mean everything to your kids someday.

These aren’t just pictures of what your family looked like. They’re little pieces of your family’s story - and hopefully, pieces that get passed down and loved for a really long time.

You Don't Need a Special Occasion

You really don’t need a big reason to take family photos. It doesn’t have to be someone’s birthday, a new baby, an anniversary, or even a special time of year.

Sometimes, “I just want to remember this” is reason enough.

Because they’re little right now. Because you love the stage your family is in. Because life feels good. Or maybe because life feels a little crazy, but you know you’re going to miss parts of this someday too. I think there’s something so special about documenting your family when nothing “big” is happening.

Just your normal life. Your people. The way things are right now. Because even though it might feel ordinary today, one day you might look back and realize these were the days you wish you could visit one more time.

The Details You'll Miss Someday

You know those little things about your kids that you wish you could somehow bottle up and keep forever?

Their tiny hand wrapped around your finger. Those little curls at the back of their head. The way they still fit perfectly in your lap. The stuffed animal they insist on bringing everywhere.

Those are some of my favorite things to photograph.

Of course, I love a beautiful family photo where everyone is together, but I also want the little stuff. The bare feet running through the grass, the way siblings make each other laugh, or the way your little one looks up at you.

Because those are the things that change without us even realizing it. And I think that’s one of the sweetest things about photography—it gives us a way to hold onto those little pieces of them, even after they’ve grown.

An Investment in Your Future Memories

When you invest in family photos, you’re really investing in so much more than just the pictures.

You’re giving yourself a way to come back to this season someday. To remember how little they were, what life looked like, and how it all felt.

And you’re creating something your kids get to keep too! Something they can look back on when they’re older, show their own families someday, and hopefully pass down for generations.

I know family photography can feel like a big investment. But I think what you’re really saying when you choose to document your family is, this part of our life matters. These days matter. These memories matter. These people matter.

And they’re worth remembering. 🤍

One Day, You'll Be Glad You Did

One day, your kids just aren’t going to be this little anymore.

Their little voices will sound different. They’ll grow out of the clothes you swear you just bought them. Their rooms will change, their interests will change, and somehow your family will start looking a little different too. And I think one day you’ll be really glad you stopped for a minute and documented what life looked like right now.

Not because everything was perfect. It probably wasn’t. 😂

But because this was YOUR life. Your people. Your crazy, sweet, ordinary days together.

And that alone makes it worth remembering. 🤍
